Too cold to undertake long treks and high altitude treks. Short treks near Kathmandu or        Pokhara can be done in mid-January to February with warm clothes. Possibility of unexpected rain in low land and snowfall in high mountain (above 1800 meters) in Janauary to mid-February.

March to May:

June-July-Aug (Remote Area -Mustang, Manaslu, Upper Dolpo & Mt. Kailash) :

September, October, November and December :


Good / best season for all kinds of treks including trekking peak climbings, and major expeditions. Ideal time for photography and view flora and fauna.
