 This route was first used by HRH the Prince of Wales Prince Charles was in 1980. The trek starts after a 20 minute drive from Pokhara and leads up in to a ridge-line through Brahman and Chettri villages. The scene from the first campsite overlooking the entire Pokhara valley offers mountain views including the beautiful Machapuchare immediately to the north of Pokhara the mighty Annapurna range, in the south east and can see chain of lakes with Lotus flowers & Lily pads surrounded by mountains. Lamjung Himal and to the east Manaslu and Himalchuli.
