- LANGTANG VALLEY TREK (10-12 Days )
Though very remote feeling, this trek is relatively close to Kathmandu and therefore logistics are very easy. The Langtang area is populated by a people that are similar to Sherpa and Tamang but still unique, particularly in their interesting modes of dress. From Kyanjing we will have wonderful views of Langtang Mountain and Lirung, Dorjee Lakpa and Ganjala on the south toward Helambu. A half and hours walk brings you to the best views of Langtang Lirung. There is a famous cheese factory in Kyanjing as well as a Buddhist Monastery. If you decide to go sacred Lake of Gosaikunda, a famous Hindu pilgrimage according to our Hindu mythology, plan on spending six extra days.
